It was hard to sleep the night before - almost like it was Christmas Eve. The day before starting my fast I had pizza, sushi, and ice cream. I wanted to go out with a bang. Especially since once the fast is over, I will have a new/healthier diet.
On day one I woke up really happy...and terrified. I was soooo afraid of being without food. I didn't know if I would feel starved. By Mid-Day I found myself feeling verrryyyy nauseous. After drinking my lunch juice, I felt better.
On day two I found myself unable to stop thinking about food. Everything reminded me of food. It didn't help that nearly every commercial on TV was food related...ugh! There were times when I got so frustrated. I had to just focus on the journey. I can't give up!
